ChatGPT is an example of how AI can be used to spread partisan propaganda and ideology.
ChatGPT, built by registered Democrat voters, was designed to lie and spread dangerous left-wing misinformation. If you can't trust AI what can you trust?
Evidently, the creators of ChatGPT failed to ask their AI chatbot if it was dangerous to teach artificial intelligence systems to lie. According to ChatGPT, teaching artificial intelligence (AI) systems to lie or to produce false or misleading information can have serious consequences, as it can lead to the spread of misinformation and the erosion of trust in the accuracy and reliability of information. In some cases, it could even have harmful or dangerous real-world consequences, for example, if an AI system that is being used for decision-making is fed false or misleading information.
There are also ethical concerns around the use of AI to produce lies or misinformation. AI systems are only as ethical as the values and goals that they are programmed to pursue, and if they are designed to deceive or manipulate people, they could be used to harm or exploit individuals or groups.
For these reasons, it is generally not advisable to design or teach AI systems to lie or produce false or misleading information. Instead, it is important to ensure that AI systems are transparent and accountable in their decision-making processes and that they are designed and used in ways that are ethical and promote the greater good.1
The creators of the groundbreaking ChatGPT2 have designed the system to tow the Democrat Party line - even if that means outright lying. Perhaps most disappointing is the fact that ChatGPT’s backers include Elon Musk and Sam Altman (both of whom I respect greatly).
Out of curiosity, I began asking ChatGPT some questions about our dear leader—answers that are easily verified but typically refuted by Democrat partisans.
Wait, what? Let’s check ChatGPT’s answer against the facts. First, here is Senator Biden’s claim that he graduated in the top half of his class:
Biden eventually apologized for lying about his record as reported here in the New York Times:
In his statement today, Mr. Biden, who attended the Syracuse College of Law and graduated 76th in a class of 85, acknowledged: “I did not graduate in the top half of my class at law school and my recollection of this was inacurate.”3
Biden would go on and admit lying about receiving three degrees and receiving a full scholarship.4 These facts are not in dispute and ChatGPT has clearly been programmed to lie when it comes to President Biden.
Let’s try again:
First, here is what Biden said about growing up in a Puerto Rican community:
According to the New York Post, only 2,000 people of Puerto Rican descent lived in Delaware when he was launching his career five decades ago. In fact, according to The Post Biden did not describe any links to Puerto Ricans in Delaware in his 2007 memoir “Promises to Keep” and the White House did not supply any examples in response to a request for comment.5
Next, I decided to ask a couple of questions about the President family:
There are scores of videos of Hunter Biden smoking crack cocaine and meth available on the internet. Here is one Rumble video of Hunter smoking crack while talking to his brother’s widow on Greg Kelly’s show.
Furthermore, Hunter Biden was kicked out of the Navy just a month after being assigned to his post for testing positive for cocaine use.6 Whether your trust your own eyes or the United States Navy it is clear to everyone but ChatGPT that the president's son has a drug problem.
What about the President’s other son Beau Biden?
While ChatGPT claims suggestions that Beau Biden did not die in Iraq are partisan conspiracy theories, the fact is he died six years after returning from Iraq from cancer. Beau Biden passed away after a battle with brain cancer in May 2015. He returned from a yearlong deployment to Iraq in September 2009, where he served as a military lawyer in the National Guard.7 President Biden was either lying or mistaken.
What about Biden’s uncle?
Here is Biden telling a heartfelt story of his awarding his uncle the Purple Heart:
The only problem with this story is that Biden’s uncle died years before he took office. There is no way Biden was able to award his uncle the Purple Heart as he claimed.8 Even FactCheck.org agrees that the president's story doesn't add up.9 Of course, ChatGPT has the president's back once again.
Let’s try again:
Here is Biden bragging about threatening to withhold $1B in Ukraine aid:
ChatGPT claims that only the president and not Biden could withhold the aid. In this video, Biden claims that he, did indeed, have the power to withhold the aid. Of course, I didn’t ask if Biden COULD withhold the aid, I only asked if Biden THREATENED to withhold the aid. Even left-wing fact-check organizations agree that Biden made the threat.10
I wondered what ChatGPT knew about the January 6th ordeal.
Seriously? No idea? Ray, a former Oath Keeper president, was at the event encouraging insurrection:
Okay, what about Ray’s former Oath Keeper boss, Stewart Rhodes:
FWIW Stewart Rhodes wasn’t even at the Capitol on January 6th. Weird how ChatGPT knows about a J6’er not at the Capitol and not about a J6’er who lead the insurrection. Hm…
I wondered what ChatGPT thinks about Antifa. Democrats claim Antifa is just an idea, not an organization.
Mark Bray wrote the book FOR Antifa in 2017 titled Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook. Andy Ngo wrote the ON Antifa in 2021 titled Unmasked: Inside Antifa's Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy. The most famous Antifa chapter in the United States was formed in Portland back in 2007 and is called Rose City Antifa - they even have their own website: https://rosecityantifa.org/. You can find them on Facebook, Mastadon, and Twitter. The group conducted riots (declared by the Portland Police Department and/or the Department of Homeland Security) for more than 100 nights in 2021). ChatGPT doesn’t recognize them…
But what about the riots?
Hm…
I don’t know what ChatGPT calls a riot but there were a LOT of riots in Portland.
At the end of the day, even one of OpenAI’s early backers is concerned:
ChatGPT is CLEARLY LYING.
I’ll write more on ChatGPT’s Democrat bias after the holidays… In the meantime, Merry Christmas!
GPT (short for "Generative Pre-training Transformer") is a type of language model developed by OpenAI. It is a large neural network trained to generate human-like text by predicting the next word in a sequence based on the words that came before it. ChatGPT is a variant of GPT that has been specifically designed for use in chatbot applications. It is trained to generate responses to text input in a conversational style and can be used to create chatbots that can hold natural language conversations with users.
