In May I wrote a post titled, “President Biden weaponized the Department of Justice against Journalists like Project Veritas” where I described the FBI’s investigation into the whereabouts of Ashley Biden’s recovery journal aka the ‘Diary From Hell’.¹ Ashley’s diary is back in the news for two reasons. To start, the Daily Mail reported that the FBI is now investigating the woman who found Ashley Biden’s diary in a halfway house. Their coverage of the investigation includes salacious details including Ashley’s recollections of sexual abuse and lurid details about inappropriate showers she took with her father at a very young age.² When I decided to look for the diary online I stumbled across Jim Shupe’s ‘200 Day Companion Recovery Journal’ on Amazon. Shupe turned the embarrassing writings of the president’s daughter and turned them into a positive resource for addicts in recovery. I can imagine that it might be helpful to read Ashley’s daily journal entries as you document your own recovery journey. Kudos to Shupe for turning a negative into a positive.
