Democratic Lobbying Firm Hired by Hunter Biden to Assist Burisma & Mykola Zlochevsky is Cooperating with the DoJ

Blue Star Strategies retroactively registered as a Foreign Agent for the work it conducted with Hunter Biden at the direction of DOJ prosecutors.

When Hunter Biden was a director for Burisma, a Ukrainian energy giant, he hired Blue Star Strategies to do work for Mykola Zlochevsky a Putin-aligned oligarch who owns the company. Blue Star was under investigation by the DoJ for conducting illegal foreign lobbying for Burisma and Mykola. The oligarch was being accused by Ukraine of misappropriating government funds, by the United Kingdom of money laundering, and by the United States Ambassador of general corruption. Blue Star was hired to work with the State Department to make those problems disappear.

Mykola was very happy with both Hunter and Blue Star’s work. As a result of their efforts, Ukraine and the U.K both agreed to unfreeze the billionaire’s assets and then-Vice President Biden pressured Ukraine’s president to fire the prosecutor pursuing charges against the oligarch.

Blue Star announced they are cooperating with Department of Justice prosecutors and pursuant to their guidance retroactively filed for the lobbying they did for Hunter Biden and Mykola Zlochevsky. Blue Star claims they are no longer the target of the investigation and will continue to assist the Department of Justice.¹ ² The Biden administration has made Blue Star the go-to firm for Ukrainian lobbying and as a result business is literally booming for the firm run by Clinton Foundation alumni.³
