Biden Putting National Security at Risk by Secretly Resettling Illegals Across America
The administration is doing everything possible to hide the shear scale of its resettlement efforts. As a result, we have no idea who we're inviting into our communities. We can fix it. Here is how.
Every day, thousands of illegal aliens dispose of their identity cards and visas shortly before crossing the border. By doing this, they successfully conceal their true identities from the Border Patrol. These individuals could be criminals, sex offenders, or even terrorists, but upon crossing the border, they are provided with a new identity and a fresh start by the Biden administration. Subsequently, they receive parole while awaiting their asylum hearing, which may be scheduled anywhere from five to ten years in the future. The Office of Refugee Resettlement then arranges for their transportation to any number of cities across the United States, where they can be closer to relatives or vetted sponsors. Upon their arrival at the airport, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) permits them to fly using their new identities, requiring only minimal documentation included in the CBP One app. Remarkably, the TSA is required to refrain from recording their names or taking their photographs. Once they settle in their new cities, these individuals can utilize their refugee documentation to obtain a photo ID. This ID enables them to legally secure employment and even purchase firearms.
Before President Biden's tenure, less than 50% of asylum seekers attended their final hearings, contrary to the American Immigration Council's far-left open border narrative, which claims a 95% attendance rate. Currently, it is estimated that fewer than 10% of the illegal immigrants recently granted automatic parole will appear at their hearings, scheduled as far ahead as the mid-2030s. For the next decade or more, their true identities will remain unknown. It is unclear whether they are here seeking a better life or intending to commit acts of terror. Despite the ambiguity surrounding their intentions, it seems logical to closely monitor these individuals. However, the current administration is exerting significant efforts to conceal their locations and identities. Why?
The simplicity of the answer is striking. The Biden administration actively seeks to prevent the American public from knowing the number of undocumented immigrants being resettled in their communities, as well as shielding their true identities from scrutiny. From the moment these individuals are intercepted at the border to their eventual relocation, their identities remain hidden. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is barred from documenting their identities or retaining their photographs, a standard practice for all American citizens. It is presumed that the reason behind the administration's prohibition of TSA record-keeping on refugee relocations is to block independent media from filing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, which would reveal the extent of undocumented immigrant distribution across the nation. More alarmingly, this concealment strategy by the administration renders it impossible to ascertain whether these individuals pose criminal or terrorist threats.
What then is the solution? It is imperative for Congress to mandate that all undocumented immigrants encountered at the border be tracked using the same technology utilized in Afghanistan, namely the Handheld Interagency Identity Detection Equipment (HIIDE). Given that many undocumented immigrants, particularly those with criminal backgrounds or malicious intent, often discard their identification prior to border crossing, it becomes essential to collect comprehensive biometric data at the point of encounter. This data should include photographs, DNA, iris scans, and fingerprints. It is crucial to link this biometric data to any new identities they assume and make this information accessible to both law enforcement agencies and the public. Furthermore, collaboration with their countries of origin is necessary to verify the authenticity of their claimed identities.
