Apple Can't Build the iPhone Without the Chinese Communist Party
Under Pressure from the Chinese Military-Industrial Complex Apple has shifted its reliance on Taiwan’s Foxconn to the Chinese Communist Party’s Luxshare.
Apple Inc., long considered a paragon of American innovation, has been making a perilous shift in its manufacturing strategy. The company is moving away from its reliance on Foxconn, a Taiwanese multinational, to Luxshare Precision Industry Co. Ltd., a Chinese company deeply embedded in the Chinese Military-Industrial Complex. This is not just a business decision; it's a geopolitical and ethical quagmire that implicates every iPhone user in a web of moral and national security concerns.
The Foxconn to Luxshare Transition
Apple's transition away from Foxconn is noteworthy, especially given that Luxshare's leadership has its roots in Foxconn. This move raises questions about Tim Cook's strategic foresight and grasp of morality. Was he warned that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) was planning to take down Foxconn? If so, shifting business to Luxshare—a company under the firm control of the CCP and the Chinese Military—was a Faustian bargain.
The Foxconn Investigation
Recently, Chinese authorities launched multiple investigations into Foxconn over tax and land use. Hedge fund manager Kyle Bass pointed out that this is standard operating procedure for Xi Jinping and his band of Communist Party thugs. He warns that Apple and its shareholders are going to lose most of what they've invested in China—first as a result of the CCP’s attack on Foxconn but eventually as a result of its reliance on Luxshare.
Luxshare: A Pillar of the Chinese Military-Industrial Complex
Luxshare is part of what the Department of Justice refers to as the Chinese Military-Industrial Complex. This means the company is under the control of the CCP and the Chinese Military. This control manifests in various ways, including the repression of ethnic and religious minority groups like Tibetans and Uyghurs.
Intellectual Property Theft
Luxshare, with the assistance of the CCP and the Ministry of State Security, has been accused of stealing technology from Taiwan, a key American ally. Without Apple’s help, the theft would have been pointless but now that Tim Cook is transitioning his business from Taiwan to China it will be the final nail in Foxconn’s coffin.
Human Trafficking and Slave Labor
Luxshare's manufacturing practices are deeply problematic to say the least. The company has been implicated in using slave labor, particularly from the Uyghur minority. By partnering with Luxshare, Apple is not only hurting American allies but also making every iPhone owner complicit in human trafficking and slavery. Apple and Tim Cook have no choice but to help China enslave religious minorities if they wish to protect shareholder value. It's not just about the device in your hand; it's about the unseen cost of how that device was made.

By understanding the full scope of this issue, we can make informed decisions that align with our values and the interests of our nation.
I would LOVE to boycott Apple products but what clean alternatives are there?
